Terms & ConditionsRegistration To register, fill out the online registration form and pay by credit card using the secure online payment form. Payment must be received within 2 weeks of registration. If payment is not received at least 3 days prior to the event your registration will be cancelled. Registrations are accepted in the order they are received. Additional forms may be required for particular events. NOMAD reserves the right to reject any registration at anytime for any reason to include medical concerns and lack of participant preparation. NOMAD does not discriminate based on race, ethnicity, or country of origin.Safety / Assumption of Risk
In all outdoor adventure
programs involving travel in remote areas and the unpredictable weather
patterns, there will be some element of risk. Please be assured that
safety is our primary concern. We provide the supervision, instruction,
and equipment needed to minimize risk while participating in program
activities. Please note that we contract out for services in some of our
Adventure Camps such as rafting, climbing, and caving. Our cancellation policy is based on our investment in food and equipment purchases, program planning, and staff training. Due to our small group size, many camps fill quickly. Cancellation on short notice often prevents others from attending, and we may be unable to recover our expenses. Registration fees will be refunded for cancellations according to the following schedule:
If a cancellation within 6 days of the session is due to a non-preexisting illness or injury (documented by the attending physician), we will apply all amounts withheld to future tuition (less a $25 processing fee and any amounts already committed to an outfitter for a contracted activity). If a participant is sent home due to a non-preexisting illness or injury, we will apply a pro-rata amount to future tuition (less $25 and any amounts already committed to an outfitter for a contracted activity). If a participant is sent home for behavioral issues or otherwise violating our Participation Agreement, or if a participant voluntarily withdraws for whatever reason, no refund will be given. We reserve the right to cancel camps or change schedules due to unforeseen circumstances. Certain camps require a minimum number of participants. In the rare event that we must cancel a session prior to the starting date, we will refund all amounts paid. Medical Treatment We shall have the right to give first aid to any participant. We shall also have the right to retain the services of a physician, or if necessary, to hospitalize a participant. All expenses related to physician care, medication, or hospitalization (including travel expense if the participant has to be sent home) shall be paid by the parent/guardian or reimbursed to us (such amounts will be added to the participant’s camp store bill). All participants must be covered by medical insurance. If you do not have medical insurance, we request that you purchase an inexpensive policy specifically for the length of stay with us. Equipment Destruction or Loss The parent/guardian will be responsible for the misuse, willful destruction, or loss by the participant of any equipment. The cost of such items will be billed to the parent/guardian of the participant. Model Release The parent/guardian and the participant agree to the use by NOMAD CAMPS of photographs, pictures, name, or likeness of the participant, and quotes from letters we receive from the participant or parent/guardian, for promotional purposes.
